Eligibility:
Applicants should:
- already hold (or expect to hold by the time of taking up the award) a degree equivalent to a first-class from a UK university
- not be an employee, current or former, of the Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies
- show a commitment to the development of their country
Conditions:
- successful applicants must undertake to return to their own country and take up permanent residence there after completing the course at Cambridge
Value of Scholarships:
The scholarships will normally cover
- the University Composition Fee at the overseas rate
- approved College fees
- a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single student
- a contribution towards a return economy airfare by the cheapest available route
