Graduate Prospectus 2010-11
The Research Councils
If you are a Home or EU student, you may be eligible to apply for funding from a UK Research Council. There are several types of studentship. Applications are made through your department, so contact your department to find out what is available.
Home students are eligible for a full studentship (University Composition and College Fees plus a maintenance stipend). EU students who have been resident in the UK for the three years prior to the start of their graduate course for the purposes of work or education are also eligible for a full studentship. EU students who cannot provide this relevant connection with the UK are eligible for a 'fees-only' award (University Composition and College Fees).
For further information, contact your department. You may consult the Research Council website for information but send any questions you may have to your department rather than the Research Council direct.
