The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that on the occasion of the visit by Her Majesty The Queen, and by the Chancellor, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, to the University (see p. 58), she has designated 19 November 2009 as an additional 'scarlet day' in accordance with the relevant regulations (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 188), and she also requests that the University Flag be flown on that day from University buildings having flagpoles.
